PlayArt can be traced into historical times, however, it florished significantly in the last few decades. The representative, international artists, exponents of the present and the most recent past, have increased to more than one thousand. A small selection of these is presented on the artists page. Their works appear in a variety of media, sizes, and styles.
Many PlayArt objects have been mass produced in order to make the joyful experience of discovery and creativity accessible to a larger audience outside of museum walls.
